Sanyade is a founding Director at Travant Capital Partners, an investment and advisory firm based in Lagos, Nigeria. In 2008, Travant raised a US$107m private equity fund focused on West and Central Africa. Sanyade heads the transaction team whose focus is on opportunities in financial services, energy, consumer products, and agribusiness, amongst others. Prior to this, she was Head of Finance & Strategy at Ocean and Oil Holdings, an investment holding company in Nigeria which holds the controlling stake in Oando Plc. Before moving to Nigeria in 2006, Sanyade spent six years at BT (British Telecom) in the UK where she held various management and commercial finance positions. Sanyade Okoli holds an MA in Mechanical Engineering from Cambridge University, UK after which she trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen (UK).
