Estelle is the Managing Director of BusyInternet, a multi-million dollar company including ISP, cybercafé and business incubator. She leads a team of 80 professionals in delivering IT-enabled services to an average of 1000 clients per day. Estelle has a degree in Economics and Development Studies from the University of Sussex and previous work experience includes working as Conference and Banqueting Manager at La-Palm Royal Beach Hotel Ghana’s only 5-star hotel) and Project Manager of the National Poverty Reduction Program at ProNet (local NGO partner to WaterAid UK). Estelle is currently a member of the 2008 class of Africa Leadership Initiative Fellows. From her nine years work experience in Ghana, she has a broad understanding of local conditions, politics, social dynamics and the ICT community. Estelle is a highly motivated individual, committed to the social and economic development of Ghana.
