Folabi is a Founding Partner of Adlevo Capital Africa an expansion stage private equity fund. Prior to this Folabi was the Founder and Managing Consultant of Techno-Diffusion Company Limited (TDC), a Nigeria-based consulting firm that advises clients on improving performance through technical manpower development and the introduction of new technology. Before establishing TDC, Folabi was the pioneer Managing Director of SAP Nigeria and successfully drove the company to profitability within three years.

Before joining SAP, Folabi had over 10 years of experience in consulting, operations and finance with blue chip companies, working in Nigeria, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Folabi earned a B. Eng in Mechanical Engineering (First Class) from Ahmadu Bello University (1986), an M.S. in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from Stanford University (1989), and an M.Sc in Innovation Management and Technology Policy from the University of London (2007).

Folabi is active on the board of the Nigerian-German Business Association and several private companies.
