2008 Wharton Africa Business Plan Competition Winners

The 2008 Wharton African Business Plan Competition (WABPC) is a key component of the 2008 Wharton Africa Business Forum conference, gives fledgling entrepreneurs the opportunity to pitch their business ideas to potential investors. During the 2008 WABPC, entrants will compete for valuable prizes and the opportunity to raise capital for their business ideas

 

The winners are:

First Prize($5000): Dairyland
Team: Francis Bobie

Second Prize($2500): Fair Goods
Team: Nishi Das; Kwasi Frimpong; Craig Doescher

Third Prize($1000): PayLid
Team: Banji Oladeji; Solomon Alawiye; Olu Ameye


The Winners will also have free legal advice through the implementation of their business ideas.
