Blake Williams is a Principal in the Technology Group within Investment Banking Division of Piper Jaffray & Co., a leading middle-market investment bank focused on growth industries. His clients include both public and private companies within the Semiconductor, Computer Hardware and Wireless markets with approximate market values ranging from $100 million to over $5 billion. For these clients, he specializes in providing a full range of financial and strategic investment banking services, including initial public offerings, or IPOs, follow-on public offerings, mergers and acquisitions, private capital raising, PIPEs, convertible and fixed income debt.
Prior to joining Piper Jaffray, Mr. Williams managed the Analog, Mixed Signal and Wireless sub-franchise of the Corporate Finance Group at Robertson Stephens. Before joining Robertson, he practiced as a corporate and securities attorney at Latham & Watkins in Los Angeles where he focused on representing investment banks, institutional investors and issuers in connection with public and private securities offerings, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring and a broad range of other financing transactions. Prior to practicing as an attorney, Mr. Williams worked in the investment banking and capital market divisions of CS First Boston Corporation in New York.
Mr. Williams graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree from Harvard University and received his Juris Doctorate Degree from Columbia University School of Law.
