Kwesi Baiden is a corporate associate in the firm's San Francisco office who concentrates his practice in mergers and acquisitions and securities transactions.

Mr. Baiden has represented buyers, sellers, and financial advisors in connection with domestic and cross-border merger and acquisition transactions in a broad range of industries, including telecommunications, retail, health care, and business services. He also has represented corporations and financial institutions in debt and equity offerings, including initial public offerings, private placements, and debt and equity tender offers. In connection with these transactions, Mr. Baiden has counseled clients on corporate governance and compliance matters, including Sarbanes-Oxley, NYSE, and Nasdaq requirements.

Pro Bono/Professional/Community Activities
Mr. Baiden is a member of the New York Bar Association's Committee on Foreign & Comparative Law and of the Ghana Bar Association. He is the founder of Kids Club, which works to instill values and community service in children, and of Kid's Music Club, which helps children discover their musical gifts and talents.

Education
Mr. Baiden received an LL.B., with honors, from the University of Ghana in 1991 and a B.L/QCL (Certified Barrister-at-Law) from Ghana School of Law in 1993. He received an LL.M, in Corporate and Securities Law in 1997 and a J.D. in 2002 from Columbia University School of Law.
