Dr. Olufemi Dosunmu received both his B.S. and M.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering, including a Physics minor,
from Boston University in 1999. Between 1999 and 2000, he was employed at Lucent Technologies as an ASIC designer
for high-speed telecommunication systems. Returning to Boston University in 2000, Dr. Dosunmu earned his Ph.D. in
Electrical Engineering, specializing in Photonics and Optoelectronic design. As a graduate student, he was awarded
the National Defense Science & Engineering Graduate (NDSEG) Fellowship in 2001, as well as the IEEE Lasers and
Electro-Optics Society (LEOS) Graduate Student Fellowship in 2004. He also authored or co-authored over 20
peer-reviewed articles and conference proceedings, including a book chapter, and is a holder of two patents.
Dr. Dosunmu is currently employed as a Senior Research Scientist at Intel Corporation’s Photonics Technology Lab,
based in Santa Clara, CA.
