Kansan Pashupathy

Kannan is currently the Director of Engineering for Africa at Google.  In this role, he leads cross-functional teams responsible for developing strategic products and initiatives for the continent.  Prior to this, he was responsible for helping the company expand its engineering presence globally, setting up and managing many of its international engineering centers and leading in-country teams.  Kannan has been in the hi-tech arena for over 20 years and prior to Google, worked at Hewlett-Packard and Agilent Technologies in a variety of technical and management positions leading organizations in the US, Asia and Europe.
