Sean Maloney

Mr. Sean Maloney is Intel’s Executive Vice President and General Manager of the brand new Intel Architecture Group. Prior to this role he was our Chief Sales and Marketing Officer.

Sean began his Intel career in 1982 as a manager of applications engineering in Intel UK. From 1992 to 1995, he served as technical assistant to Andy Grove, Intel former chairman and CEO. He then spent several years in Hong Kong to manage Intel's sales and marketing activities in Asia-Pacific.

In 1998 Sean returned to the United States and became head of Intel's worldwide sales organization. He has held positions of senior Vice President, Head of Intel Communications Group, General Manager of Mobility Group. He also currently serves on the board of Autodesk Inc. and Clearwire Corporation.

His hobbies include rowing, reading history, and supporting rugby teams in England. .
