Jay Ward brings a wide range of experience to his position as CEO of 1stFriday.com, Inc. Jay is a former technology industry venture capitalist and startup company manager. He was formerly a Vice President of Yazam, a Texas Pacific Group and Carlyle Group backed early stage venture capital firm.

Jay also was President of RingCentral, which has been backed by Sequoia Capital and Khosla Ventures. Prior to founding 1stFriday.com, Inc., Jay was an attorney in the Venture Capital and Technology Practice Group of Reed Smith LLP. Jay is a graduate of Williams College, Harvard Law School, and the Executive Program in Business Strategy and Organization at the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
